PLACING THE CHILD SEAT IN THE CAR
Place the child seat on the appropriate seat in the car.
To install the seat in an upright position for the child it is essential
to take care that the backrest (a) of the child seat lies flush against
backrest of the car seat. To achieve this, push the seat toward the car
seat backrest.
By using the ISOFIX anchorage points (i) in the car, you can adjust this
distance with the handle (v) on the underside of the child seat.
If the headrests of the car seats get in the way, pull these completely
out, turn them round, or detach them completely (exception see section
„THE BEST POSITION IN THE CAR“). The backrest (a) adjusts itself in
one movement to almost every position of the car seat.
RELEASING THE ISOFIX CONNECTORS
Note! Retracting the connectors not only protects the car seat, but also protects the
ISOFIX CONNECT system from dirt and damage.
Note! Some car seat covers made from delicate materials (e.g. velour, leather etc.)
may be marked by the use of child seats. This can be avoided by placing a blanket or
a towel beneath the child seat.
